Communicators for Women Religious, 24th Annual Conference

Sr. Yolanda Cruz, SSMN is a presenter at the Communicators for Women Religious, 24th Annual Conference, October 2–5, 2018, Sheraton Fort Worth Downtown, Fort Worth, Texas.


Sister Yolanda is a member of the Sisters of Saint Mary of Namur. She served for seven years as Vice Chancellor and Delegate for Women Religious for the Diocese of Fort Worth. She was also diocesan director for the Office of Catechist Formation and Catechesis for Children, and associate vocation director. Her past experience includes working as director of religious education in Texas dioceses, and missionary work in Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and Brazil. Presently, she is on the faculty at the University of Dallas Neuhoff School of Ministry, teaching sacred scripture, pastoral and theology courses.

I presented on the topic “Evangelizers through the path of holiness”.

The conference was hosted by the University of Dallas and the Diocese of Dallas, and very well attended from all over North Texas. Many laity, Religious, deacons and priests from schools and parishes of the Fort Worth diocese were also in attendance.

God’s grace and presence is very alive in our church! I am humbled to have been able to serve in the conference.
