During the early part of January, Sister Maureen Quinn, our Superior General, spent a week with the Sisters in Texas. One day we had a meeting with her in which she talked about the various Provinces/Regions and their present activities. We then had a little party with her where she cut
a cake celebrating our 200 years of existence as the Sisters of St. Mary of Namur, beginning in Belgium and now extending to ten different countries.
