Palm Sunday in Mexico

"Just before Palm Sunday, Sister Yolanda and Sister Ines left for Tehuacan, Mexico, to work with some Basilian Brothers and other catechists in the areas where they wanted to help the people to have the Holy Week and Easter services. During the early parts of the week, they worked with children, young people, and adults to give presentations on the meaning of these days. They were also able to have some recreational activities for them. You can see how happy all the people were. On Palm Sunday, their palms were often taller than the person holding them. The preparations for Holy Thursday and Good Friday were very moving. After the closing Mass on Easter Sunday, the group photo shows how many Brothers, Sisters, and other missionaries and catechists had been working to make these days very special for all the people. We thank all of those involved for all of their dedication and hard work."
