On September 14, the Sisters of the Western Region gathered in Fort Worth to view the power point presentation on the Western Region and the activities in which our Sisters are involved, which was shown at the General Chapter in Belgium in July.
This was followed by the presentation and discussion of an article published by the Leadership Conference of Women Religious entitled: Rightsizing: A Call to the Future.
In the afternoon, we reviewed the activities of the various committees and the preparations being made for the celebration of our Congregation Bicentennial in November.
The afternoon closed in the chapel with the ceremony of renewal of promises of three of our Oblates: Diane Murray, Valerie Mahfood, and Merys Jimenez.
