Bishop Michael Olson took the opportunity of the Christmas break to bring the younger seminarians who attend the seminary in Covington, LA, for their philosophy courses to meet the Sisters of St. Mary as we celebrate 200 years of existence as a religious community.
1--2 Sisters welcome the seminarians.
3--4 Bishop Olson introduces the seminarians and describes their studies at Covington, LA.
5 Sister Rosemary welcomes the Bishop and Seminarians and gives a short history of our community and
our work in Texas.
6 –7 The Sisters described their backgrounds and how they decided to enter the community. Here Sr.
Teresa Honkomp from Wichita Falls describes her background and work.
8—9 The Bishop, the Seminarians, and the Sisters went to the chapel to pray Evening Prayer together.
10—15 After Evening Prayers, the Bishop, the Seminarians, and the Sisters had a pizza supper in the
Dining Room.
16 In Preparation for their departure, the Sisters sang a song of blessing over the Bishop and these
special young men for whom we pray each day.
